"OneSkein" baby hat on maxime

trying it out on our baby simba first

we went to see maxime, my newborn nephew. i had knit him a hat from "OneSkein" by Leigh Radford so here is him modeling it. he looks like some mushroom i think, very "organic", he makes me laugh.

Zaz,
I couldn't find your e-mail address on my blog, but, Yes, I do wear my leg warmers with jeans. Almost daily. They're so warm and a great, quick pattern to knit. One Skein is really a great book, isn't it??

Hi Zaz! I stumbled upon your blog searching for help with the baby hat. I'm tried it a zillion times and keep getting tripped up in the second round...i keep coming up with the wrong number of sts, and I can't figure out the error! Did you have any trouble with it? Any help would be appreciated!

hi hayley,
actually it was so easy and i had never knit lace before... (unless i knit the skulls sweater before it?)
plus i had to give it the next day as we were paying a visit to this baby, i used a yarn that i had...
no, i did not notice any mistakes, but just to make sure, i googled it for you just now and here's leigh's errata page:
http://www.leighradford.com/alterknit_projects/errata.html

cheers! and leave me your http:// so i can look at your work, ok? :)
